The LOCATOR ELR (extra light retention) Replacement Male can also be used in cases where gradual loading is preferred.

 
This new Replacement Male is color coded BLUE and has a retentive holding force of only 1.5 pounds (680 grams). The item is available in a package of 4 for $20.00.

 
Our original WHITE Replacement Male has the retention of 5.0 pounds (2268 grams) and our PINK Replacement Male has the retention of 3.0 pounds (1361 grams).

(The Extended Range Male is used in the Stainless Steel Denture Cap (8519) and will easily accommodate a divergent implant between 10 and 20 degrees or 40 degrees between implants). The retentive holding force is dependent upon the degree of angulation; at 10-degrees the retention would be 4.0 pounds or 1814 grams and at 20-degrees the retention would be approximately 3.0 pounds or 1361 grams.
